We are excited to announce a significant collaboration between Nafas Indonesia and DBS Foundation to expand air quality monitoring across Indonesia! This partnership reflects our joint commitment to raising awareness of air quality issues and improving public health across the country.
First, we’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to DBS Foundation for actively participating in increasing awareness about air quality problems in Indonesia.
Through our collaboration with DBS Foundation, we are adding 50 new sensors in 9 new cities:
Medan, Pekanbaru, Palembang, Pontianak, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Makassar, and Manado.
In August, Nafas successfully installed 19 air quality sensors out of the 50 sensors, across 14 cities in Indonesia, with plans to continue expanding our network.
This initiative is part of the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) program supported by DBS Foundation, reflecting their dedication to sustainability and public health. The addition of these sensors will play a vital role in increasing public awareness of the importance of maintaining health, especially in preventing various respiratory diseases caused by air pollution.
We hope that by expanding our air quality sensor network, more people will realize the urgency of monitoring and improving air quality, both indoors and outdoors.
